Welcome,

I'm a student of Computer Science at the [[http://www.h-da.de/|University of Applied Sciences of Darmstadt]] in Germany. I just obtained my Bachelor's degree and am about to start working towards my MSc. So I figured I could use the time in between to finally set up a blog to share some of the more interesting things I occasionally come across (read: it will be rather low-traffic ,)).

\\ **About me**

My main interests are offensive and defensive IT-security, (secure) software development and occasionally literature, anime and gaming. This should also more or less be the mixture you can expect from this blog.

My favorite tools-of-the-trade are Debian, Python, gdb, zsh, hte, gvim, Eclipse, XFCE and The Gimp. Below is a screenshot of my usual XFCE desktop setup to give this posting some color.
